Send-off events build foundation for new students
The India Gateway and the Alumni Club of South India made sure the newest Buckeyes from India would be well prepared for the first day of classes at The Ohio State University by hosting send-off events in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai. Close to 50 students and their families participated in the gatherings, which fostered connections and provided insight from alumni and current students about university life, the campus environment, food options and a myriad of opportunities.
The new student send-off events are an excellent way to make new friends, build confidence and ensure a successful and enriching experience at Ohio State.
