A glimpse inside the home of actress and singer Rumer Willis reveals a bold choice of wallpaper ideas that champions a nostalgic and whimsical feel in the home.

‘I just wanted lots of color and whimsy and magic, like what my mom instilled in us in our own childhood home,’ Willis tells Crate and Kids.

Designer Cory Alisa Ferris explains: ‘One may think stripes on walls as a bold move, but the vertical tangerine bands in Rumer’s little girl’s nursery are unexpectedly calming. The two orange tones against the white backdrop emulate a bit of an ombré effect, and the imperfection of the lines also softens the pattern.’
