A strong foundation for two future families of Chino Hills has been completed by Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity.
Last Saturday, building partners Holliday Rock and Arispe Concrete poured and completed the foundations for the two houses being built on Fairway Boulevard in the Los Serranos area of Chino Hills.
Completion of the foundations will enable volunteers to sign up and assist Habitat for Humanity to begin framing the two houses that are being built for families of veterans.
Executive Director Christine Charland said many groups and businesses have committed to support these projects, and preparations are underway for Saturday volunteer shifts.
Individuals and groups will be eligible to work on the project after attending an information session.
One veteran family has been selected and a search for the second veteran family continues.
