The Emmy-nominated You Need to Calm Down Taylor Swift video star took to Instagram to reveal his folding custom windows in the kitchen he shares with his husband, Dewey Do. And designers love Bobby’s creative kitchen decor idea.
The Instagram video shows Bobby folding open the sleek black window installments inside his LA kitchen onto his white marble outdoor bar with tall modern barstools. Bobby places a bowl of limes on the bar, demonstrating how the design both offers kitchen airflow and allows serving the bar from inside.

He adds, ‘The design provides the convenience of adapting to varying weather conditions and hosting needs. Style-wise, the extended counter creates a seamless integration between the indoor and outdoor environments, fostering a unique dialogue between two spaces and instantly altering the overall ambiance.’
Furthermore, the experts say that this style will become even more popular in the coming year. Yvonne Landivar, kitchen and bath designer in the Los Angeles area, says, ‘It’s a concept that is gaining popularity. The way the window sits just high enough above the stone so that when it is opened, you can slide a plate, a drink, or a snack is genius.’
She continues, ‘The folding panels have been used indoors for a long time, such as the La Cantina Doors, and now we see this trend being used in windows. I love that adding the correct height of stools on the patio side will make this an easy-to-use entertainment gathering spot.’
